      How do I improve my solution's discoverability and ranking on X4Impact?

      *Note: The Tech4Good Directory will remain live until December 2023, but we have exciting things on the horizon following our transition to Giving Compass Insights. On account of these changes, Tech Directory page managers can continue to manage their organization's listing, however Giving Compass Insights is not actively updating the Tech4Good Directory at this time.       Solution Headers - "Name of Product or Service"

      When writing your solution page's title, it is important to be descriptive and optimize your words to make your page easily searchable. 

      Instead of titling your solution with the name, add tagline elements so people know right away what your product solves. For example: 

      VidaNyx Digital Evidence Management For Child Advocacy Centers. 

      Discoverability 

      Use keywords that people are most likely to type into the X4Impact search bar to make it easier for people to find what they are looking for. Increase the odds that your solution will appear by adding keywords relating to your solution's purpose in the title and the description. Doubling up on keywords in the title and the description will give your solution more visibly by making it more discoverable. For example:

      Ranking

      By default solutions are ranked highest with an algorithm based on the following elements:

      1. UN SDG relevance (if the user has an SDG selected)
      2. Keyword matching (If the user has a search term)
      3. Premium listing
      4. Popularity (number of shares + number of follows + number of recommendations)
      5. The highest number of badges
      6. Recently updated solution

      X4Impact users also have the option to sort by "Most Recent" or 'Most Popular."
